Celtic Wag Helen Flanagan was in reflective mood as she posted a throwback to her time in the I’m A Celeb jungle on social media.

The 29-year-old appeared on the hit ITV reality show back in 2012 where she was the fifth person to be eliminated after being voted to take part in most of the Bushtucker Trials.

Actress Helen posted a picture of herself from her time living among the creepy crawlies on Instagram alongside the caption: “#tbt 7 years ago” and some insect emojis.

Despite living in a camp, she still looked amazing in a skimpy leopard-print bikini with fill red lips and her hair tied up in a bun.

The mother-of-two previously posted a video reflecting on her time on I’m A Celeb while cosy in her pajamas.

She said: “”Right so I’m just catching up now on I’m A Celebrity. Just the thought of when Ant and Dec come on and say, ‘For this challenge’, it just gives me the fear.

“I remember as well when they used to explain things to me about the trials, I’d panic because I’d be so scared like when they used to talk to me about things I wouldn’t even process because I’d be so worked up.

“I remember I did this trial, ugh, vile, I hate crocodiles, I had to go underneath the water and get these stars, but I forgot I had to get them with my mouth, but I was so worked up I just didn’t think.”

Helen, who is engaged to Hoops striker Scott Sinclair, took part on the show alongside fellow soap star Charlie Brook, boxer David Haye and chef Rosemary Shrager.

And despite her ordeal at the hands of the public, she says she will let daughter Matilda, three, watch clips of her mum in action from 2012.

She said: “I’m gonna let Matilda watch back some old clips, which she’s gonna find hilarious.

“I’m A Celebrity, even though I was beyond rubbish at the trials, it was an amazing experience when I look back on it.”
