Most artists would be flattered someone wanted to get their face tattooed on their body for life, but Celine Dion has issued an appeal to Drake for him not to get a tattoo of her.

Drake had apparently told Celine he was ‘like a year away from a Celine Dion tatt’ at the Billboard Music Awards two years ago, but the My Heart Will Go On singer has begged him not to go through with it.

Celine put out the random appeal during an interview with iHeartRadio in Canada, telling the rapper: ‘Please Drake, I love you very much. Can I tell you something? Don’t do that.

‘You can write me love letters, you can send me autographs for my kids, you can come and visit, I can have you home for lunch or dinner, we can go for a drink, we can sing together, whatever you want to do.

‘I can talk to your mother. Whatever you want! But please, this is not the money maker over here.

‘The thing that I want to say to you is that all of us are going forward in life, and I’ve always been very thin, and as time goes and as you get older – you too when the time comes – my face will go longer and it will be not pretty.

‘So please don’t tattoo. If you do it, just do a fake one so you can change your mind. If it’s Nicole one day, Celine another day, Barbara one time.’

While we reckon Celine quite literally begging Drake not to get a tattoo of her face may work for now, it wouldn’t be the first celebrity portrait he has had inked on his body.

The Gods Plan star has got Aaliyah’s face on his back, Rihanna on his arm, Lil Wayne on his tricep, Sade on his side and a portrait of Denzel Washington too.

Looks like Celine’s face would be in pretty good company, to be fair.
