Celebrity Gogglebox has had its moments, and the stars’ reactions to Nigella Lawson was definitely one of them.
The famous faces took to their seats in front of the small screen ready for an installment of Nigella: At My Table.
And well, it turns out Emilia Fox’s cousin Laurence has a thing for the famous chef.
As the cookery show started, Emilia turned to the 41-year-old and asked if he fancied the star.
Nodding his head, the singer laughed: ‘I could listen to her all day.’
Nigella started to make a sandwich, and Emilia couldn’t help but ask Lawrence if he’d like to share one with the cook.
Looking sheepish, he gushed: ‘I want to do the spaghetti game with her.’
Further on in the programme, the 59-year-old introduced a new chicken recipe, and pulled on some black gloves while preparing the meat.
‘She’s now putting on a pair of rubber gloves,’ the Gunfight hitmaker squealed before watching Nigella throw in a Vitelotte purple potato.
He smirked: ‘What I would give to be that potato.’
And Lawrence wasn’t the only one to crack jokes while Nigella was on the screen, as Rylan Clark-Neal got a lecture about the mother-of-two, from his own mum.
Awkward!
‘Blokes you know, watch her and like sort of get off on watching her,’ she explained to the former Big Brother star.
Looking all confused, the 30-year-old laughed: ‘What?’
‘Well, she’s very sexual towards… When she’s cooking,’ Linda said.
Still unsure as to what was going on, Rylan quizzed: ‘What? You think there’s a bloke sitting at home having a fiddle watching her cut up a leek?’
Celebrity Gogglebox continues Friday at 9pm on Channel 4.
