Celebrity Doctor Xand van Tulleken says boot out Boris Johnson to save the NHS

Celebrity Doctor Xand van Tulleken has called on voters to do everything they can to oust Boris Johnson and the Conservatives from power to save the NHS.

The CBBC host took to Twitter to call with a message to boot out Boris Johnson – without backing any particular party – to stop the “disgusting” way the Tories have treated our health service.

He said: “The Tories are selling our NHS bit by bit to profit-making companies.

“I lived in the US for eight years and I promise you it is an unbelievably awful system. We don’t want any part of it here.”

The Channel 4 host added in the video: “I worked for the NHS for 10 years and I also make stuff for television.

“And anyone who has seen me on television will know that I spend a lot of my time spraying around diarrhoea, blood, snot, mucus, earwax.

Dr Xand Van Tulleken said we all had a chance to save the NHS and we should take it

“I’ve drunk urine on television. I’ve even booed on my brother’s bathroom floor.

“But the most disgusting thing I have ever seen is what Boris Johnson and the Conservatives are doing to the NHS.

“Over the last 10 years, they have nearly destroyed the NHS.

“It is massively important for all of us, and on election day you have a chance to stop them.”

It comes after Billie Piper urged voters to reject the Tories at the polls with a cheeky T-shirt.

The singer and actress has thrown her support behind the tactical voting camp as she urges voters to turn their backs against the Conservatives in this week’s election.

Billie Piper has made her thoughts about Boris Johnson’s Tories clear

Billie, 37, wore a t-shirt that mimics the Tesco logo to take a political stand.
It reads: “Tories, very little help.”

She wrote: “Cannot get behind a man who shames single mums and their children, uses casual racism, gambles with the NHS and gives zero f***s about our children’s future.

She posted a link to the People’s Vote campaign’s tactical voting website along with the tweet.
