Just when you thought #throwbackthursday had fizzled out, Emma Bunton took to Instagram to post an absolute corker. The image presented a flashback to the 2000 VH1 Vogue Fashion Awards, where Bunton partied with Victoria Beckham and… wait for it… Ben Stiller. Also in attendance were Keith Richards, Liv Tyler, Gisele Bündchen, Destiny’s Child, Renée Zellweger, Harrison Ford and Macy Gray, to name but a few of the prominent Nineties faces.
When did Bunton, Beckham and Stiller become a trio, one might ask? The party fell two years after Geri Halliwell had exited the Spice Girls, and one year prior to the release of Zoolander. Showbiz was theirs for the taking.
And judging by the pictures that emerged, that was the mood for every partygoer. The wild abandon might have now disappeared – along with some of the questionable fashion – but thankfully, those pictures are still in circulation. More throwbacks please, folks.
