And Cassie continued to provide her following with glimpses at her pregnancy journey as she uploaded a slew of stunning maternity snaps to Instagram on Tuesday.
The hitmaker, 34, also took a moment to reflect on motherhood and how it has ‘redefined the way that I love myself.’
For the first shot, Cassie put her bare baby bump on display in a black plunging crop top and a pair of matching panties.
She posed with one hand on her hip, while the other rested atop her growing belly.
Cassie, whose full name is Casandra Elizabeth Ventura Fine, wore her raven tresses in a myriad of lengthy braids.
In contrast to her minimal clothing, the Perfect Match actress sported chunky silver cuffs on both of her wrists and a pair of dramatic hoops in her ears.
She also had on several unique rings, including one spiral band that rested just above her knuckle.
As for her makeup, Cassie amplified her natural glow with a generous amount of bronzing powder and cheekbone highlight.
In her candid caption, Cassie discussed how she now understands ‘the importance of my own self love being crucial in raising our children to love themselves unconditionally, fiercely and unapologetically.’
She believes that mothers are the ‘daily example’ and that her children ‘will always know that they are loved, but they will also practice and understand the importance of the love they give themselves.
‘Not with arrogance, but with appreciation and gratitude. Motherhood didn’t change me, it made me a better human being.
‘It didn’t slow me down, it made me smarter. It didn’t complicate my life, it made me laugh harder.
‘There really are no words to describe it, but I do know that I’m thankful and my heart has not only grown and evolved for my growing family, it’s grown and evolved for me. We are divine beings,’ she concluded.
Cassie’s recent maternity shoot comes just days after she shared a dramatic series of pregnancy images with her 7.5million Instagram followers.
For the snaps, the singer posed for the pics in a black bra and panties paired with a long black coat and strappy black heels.
Cassie announced her second pregnancy in December, one year after welcoming her first child, daughter Frankie, with her husband Alex Fine.

Cassie went on: ‘I promise to always kiss my lip gloss on you and make you laugh. Thank you for making me a Mama and being the best Dada. I can’t believe we’re about to do it again!’
