Cashflow specialist hires chief operations officer from rival

Glasgow-based cashflow management, credit control and debt recovery specialist XFS Limited has appointed Margo Kidd as its chief operations officer.

Kidd moves from debt collection group Opos in Dumbarton, where she was head of operations for more than six-and-a-half years.

She has more than 15 years of management experience, including a decade of strategic development and plan execution UK-wide with the Lewis Group and has FCA approvals for SMF3.

XFS Limited chief executive Ken McGeoch said: “Margo is the right leader for XFS Limited. Her extensive knowledge and background with the FCA, will help XFS strengthen relationships, develop strategic alliances and expand our client base.”

XFS aims to help clients reduce their arrears by collecting cash more efficiently.

Kidd said: “I am very excited to be joining the XFS team. I believe XFS has a great business model and talented management team that I have previously worked with. XFS Limited uniquely positions itself to assist its clients in the current changing economic climate.

“As the industry evolves and adjusts through restructuring, consolidation and technology migrations, I believe XFS Limited is in a position to provide a cost effective and timely suite of strategies and services to help all, from SMEs through to larger private and public sector organisations.”
