Hollywood sweetheart Jennifer Garner is every bit as ‘amazing’ as we were really hoping.

So says former brother-in-law Casey Affleck who praised the actress for being an ‘awesome’ auntie to his two children.

Four years after filing for divorce from Casey’s brother, Batman star Ben Affleck, ‘caring’ Jennifer still never misses one of her nephew’s birthdays.

‘Jennifer has been amazing,’ Casey told UsWeekly. ‘She’s just the perfect aunt. She’s so caring and sensitive and never forgets a birthday. She’s awesome.”

The Manchester By The Sea actor says Ben is also a ‘great role model’ to his two sons Indiana, 15, and Atticus, 11, whom he shares with ex-wife Summer Phoenix.

He adds: ‘[Ben] is a really great role model for them and the way an uncle should be. He pops in and out and takes them to a game or just whatever.’

Ben and Jen share three children of their own: Violet, 13, Seraphina, 10 and seven-year-old Samuel but they seem to have the co-parenting thing down.

Despite their split in 2015, after 10 years of marriage, Jennifer was there for her ex-husband during his relapse last year.

The actress held an intervention for Affleck before driving him to rehab where he spent 40 days seeking treatment for alcohol issues.

Ben has previously praised Jennifer for making parenting easy, admitting he still loves the ‘wonderful’ mother of his children.

The Gone Girl actor said: ‘I hope I’m a pretty good dad. I certainly try very hard.

‘I’m lucky they’ve got a great mum, and she helps out a great deal with making sure that we co-parent in as good a way as possible.

‘That’s really the central preoccupation in my life, you know, the focus of my life is what I love doing. It’s what makes me happy and the rest of the stuff kind of follows.’
