Casetify teams up with Nasa for space-inspired phone cases and accessories

Casetify is well known in the tech accessories world for its ace collaborations and designs for phone cases and Apple Watch straps. It’s new collection, however, is one of its best yet.

The lifestyle brand is teaming up with Nasa for its first space-inspired collection, featuring 16 Nasa-inspired designs that will make your iPhone and MacBook look out of this world.

From designs inspired by Nasa’s astronaut access badge, mission assignments and the blueprints of a classic space shuttle, the space-age designs are exactly what you need to brighten up your gadgets.

Not to mention the accessories will protect your tech too: Casetify’s designs can protect gadgets from drops of up to 6.2 feet.

Speaking about the new collection, Casetify’s CEO and co-founder Wes Ng said: “When it comes to advanced technology and exploration, there’s no better source for inspiration than Nasa. We know our community will be over the moon to see Nasa’s emblems re-imagined in true Casetify style.”

Casetify’s Nasa collection will drop on July 30, the same day that Nasa will launch its Mars 2020 mission. The mission will seek signs of habitable life on the red planet as well as past microbial life, using the Perseverance rover. July has been chosen for the timing of the mission as Earth and Mars are in good positions to one another, meaning it will take less time to travel to the planet.

The new collection is the latest partnership in the company’s Co-Lab programme. Launched last year, Casetify Co-Lab regularly drops co-branded capsules from different brands and artists around the world with recent collections including Heinz, Hello Kitty and Coca Cola. Last year, Casetify created a range of augmented phone cases and Watch straps with the digital-focused fashion brand Virtual Super Land.

The new collection will be on sale from July 30 and the waitlist is open now at casetify.com/Nasa. Prices will start from £30. Be quick, this collection will not be hanging around for long.
