Caroline Flack’s ex-boyfriend Lewis Burton is rumoured to have developed a ‘close’ friendship with Lottie Tomlinson.

Lewis and Lottie, the sister of One Direction star Louis, have reportedly been ‘meeting in secret’ after spending time together at a house party thrown by Caroline’s close pal Lou Teasdale to mark three months since she died.

New pictures show the pair walking to tennis coach Lewis’ flat on Friday night.

The pair are said to have been supporting each other through their grief for loved ones, with Lottie losing both her mum Johannah in 2016 and sister Felicite last year.

Love Island presenter Caroline took her own life at the age of 40.

A source told Mail Online: ‘They have been meeting up in secret for weeks but their newfound friendship hasn’t gone unnoticed by mutual pals.

‘Not all of Caroline’s friends are happy with how the situation appears to be developing but can understand that both Lottie and Lewis have been there for each other as a shoulder to cry on.

‘Lewis spent last week in Marbella while Lottie was in St Tropez the weekend previous, they couldn’t wait to be reunited with each other on Friday.’

Metro.co.uk has contacted Lewis and Lottie’s camps for comment. A rep for Lottie declined to comment to Mail Online.

The X Factor host and Lewis had been dating since August 2019 before Caroline tragically died by suicide in February this year.

‘It’s already been a month I love and miss you so much, I never thought that one day I will never be able to see or speak to you again,’ he wrote on social media after her funeral in March.

‘I wake up and think you’re going to be laying next to me or you’re going to call me in a minute. It just doesn’t seem real. I wish I could give you a kiss and a cuddle and say everything is going to be ok.

‘I am so grateful I met you I just want to make you proud. X’.
