Caroline Flack's boyfriend posts devastating message saying 'my heart is broken' after star's tragic death


Caroline Flack’s boyfriend Lewis Burton has paid tribute to his girlfriend saying his heart is broken after the news of her death.

Sharing a picture of the couple together on a beach, the former tennis player said he was ‘lost for words’ and will love the TV star forever.

The former Love Island host, 40, was found dead at home in East London on Saturday. Her family confirmed she took her own life.

The couple had been together since June 2019 and pals had said Caroline was happier than she had ever been.

Lewis Burton’s devastating Instagram post

In the heartfelt Instagram message shared on Sunday morning, Lewis said: “My heart is broken we had something so special.

“I am so lost for words I am in so much pain I miss you so much I know you felt safe with me you always said I don’t think about anything else when I am with you and I was not allowed to be there this time I kept asking and asking.

“I will be your voice baby I promise I will ask all the questions you wanted and I will get all the answers nothing will bring you back but I will try make you proud everyday.”

Caroline and Lewis were said to have started dating soon after Caroline returned to the UK following her stint in Mallorca for Love Island over the summer.

She made it official with hunky Lewis, 27, in August, when the former pro tennis player shared a picture showing Caroline kissing him on the cheek.

Caroline started her career as an actress, starring in Bo’ Selecta! in 2002 and then went on to present various ITV2 spin-off shows such as I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

The TV star also won the 12th series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2014 and in the following year she began presenting the first-ever series of Love Island and continued to do so for the next five seasons.
