Caroline Flack is reportedly penning a self-help book after quitting her job presenting Love Island.

The 40-year-old stepped down as host of the dating show after she was charged with assault following an alleged row with her boyfriend Lewis Burton.

Sources claimed the TV star will talk about her ‘problems’ and how she’s ‘overcome’ them.

‘Caroline has found the process incredibly cathartic,’ an insider told the Daily Mail.

‘She wants it to be more than just a story about her. She wants to talk about the problems she’s encountered and how she’s overcome them.’

The source added: ‘She hopes to be able to help others who may be going through similar difficulties. Part self-help, part memoir is the style that Caroline is looking for.’

Metro.co.uk has contacted Caroline’s reps for comment.

The presenter is set to face trial on March 4, after pleading not guilty to assaulting Lewis back in December 2019.

Personal trainer Lewis, 27, allegedly said, ‘She tried to kill me, mate,’ during a 999 call which was played to the court.

Prosecutor Katie Weiss said: ‘He is almost begging the operator to send help. ‘She calls him an a******e repeatedly.

‘He had been asleep and had been hit in the head with a lamp. His face was covered in blood.’

Lewis has been supporting his girlfriend, despite the TV star being banned from contacting him and insisted that claims she hit him over the head with a lamp are not true.

He wrote on his Instagram stories: ‘It’s heartbreaking I can’t see my girlfriend over Christmas. What I witnessed today was horrible.

‘She did not hit me with a lamp… Arguments do happen every day in every relationship. Gutted I am not allowed to protect her right now.’
