Caroline Flack has liked a number of tweets about being alone on Christmas Day after pleading not guilty to assaulting her boyfriend Lewis Burton.

The star was recently given conditional bail that stated she was not allowed to contact her beau ahead of the trial, which includes direct or indirect contact or attending his address.

And it seems as though the 40-year-old is missing her man over the festive period as she recognised a series of messages addressing loneliness over the holidays.

‘And if you are on your own this Christmas, just remember you are never alone,’ Dan Wootton shared on Christmas Eve, which grabbed Flacker’s attention.

She also liked a post from Rose McGowan, reading: ‘Today I celebrate. I have love in my life, I’m on the road to emotional recovery, and I have mad love for all of you out there who keep me going in dark times.

‘I wish you all peace and a big ray of hope. Here’s to getting the other side. Love, Rose.’

The Love Island host has been accused of attacking her boyfriend with a lamp but pleaded not guilty to the charge of common assault during a court hearing this week.

Since then, she announced her social media break in a bid to focus on her wellbeing.

In an Instagram post, the the star said: ‘Been advised not to go on social media … but I wanted to say happy Christmas to everyone who has been so incredibly kind to me this year.

‘This kind of scrutiny and speculation is a lot to take on for one person to take on their own [sic].’

Vowing to take valuable lessons from the ordeal, Caroline continued: ‘I’m a human being at the end of the day and I’m not going to be silenced when I have a story to tell and a life to keep going with.

‘I’m taking someone time out to get feeling better and learn some lessons from situations I’ve got myself into to [sic].’

She added: ‘I have nothing but love to give and best wishes for everyone [sic].’

Caroline was arrested earlier in December after Lewis, 27, called 999 claiming she was ‘beating [him] up’ and had hit him over the head with a lamp while he slept.

According to prosecutors, the couple opened the door to police who saw them covered in blood and likened the scenes to a ‘horror movie’.

However, the tennis player and model has publicly stood by Caroline and appeared in court on Monday.
