Carol Vorderman sparked a frenzy on Twitter as she shared a throwback picture of herself in view of her 395,000 followers on Sunday morning. The Countdown legend’s offering was soon branded the “sexiest photo of all time” by none other Myleene Klass. The 58-year-old was seen in the upload, which has since been liked almost 3,000 times, alongside a male companion. She herself branded it “sensational” as she confirmed it had been taken three years ago as part of the BBC’s The One Show.
Sat on a plane ramp while another aircraft could be seen very close behind, Carol was pictured looking up at her fellow crew-member.
With her dark tresses moving around due to altitude, the mother-of-two was seen dressed in trousers and a chunky coat.
She captioned it: “Probably my favourite photo of all time… me on right… if you zoom in… the pilot @thef35 is so close to the ramp that you can see his eyes and mine.
“Sensational @DT_britain @airtattoo @BBCTheOneShow #3 years ago #2ndF35TrailsBelow.”
Singer Aled Jones was one of the first to comment, tweeting: “Amazing photo Carol!!! You look so so happy!” with a winking emoji.
Carol replied: “Hello mister… I am… Happy factor 17 out of 10. Xx also South Wales? Amazing… for us Gogs… just amazing.”(sic)
Pregnant presenter Myleene then went even further, stating: “Sexiest photo of allll time.”(sic)
“Awwww… you get it missus… also Colleen is sending love @nasa,” Carol told her.
When another user said she “must be mad” to have taken part in the activity, the star simply quipped: “You know the answer to that!!!”
Someone else added: “What an image! You look very relaxed and at home up there Carol!
#inspiringwomen.”
Carol one again replied: “I just love it all… truly.”
The small screen favourite also posted a video of the terrifying moment, saying it was “another ramp of joy”.
Carol went on: “On another ramp of utter joy 3 yrs ago… 10,000ft above the North Sea filming our @thef35 (far left) refuelling on its first trip to the UK.
“I swapped sides to get a better filming angle… love it ALL @airtattoo @BBCTheOneShow.”
Meanwhile, it comes after Carol Vorderman spoke out to “quash rumours” after a series of glamorous photographs.
She shut down any queries she might have been wearing real fur to last week’s Chepstow Races, tweeting: “Fake fur or sheepskin in whichever pic you’re looking at.”(sic)
