Carol Vorderman claims she was sent lots of message from men and women when she joined a dating app used by celebs.
Among the star names to sign up to the Raya app include Hollywood actor Channing Tatum, Normal People star Paul Mescal, singer Lewis Capaldi and Britain’s Got Talent’s David Walliams
But Carol only spent a brief time on the app and told potential love interests she wasn’t interested in anything long-term.
She told The Sun: “A mate of mine said it would be a laugh. A lot of LA people made contact, men and women funnily enough, but it’s not my scene.
“I’m quite happy with my usual way of doing things. But life is never dull.”
Carol signed up after previously shunning dating apps and insisting she “got enough of all that business as it is” without the need for apps.
In 2018 she joked: “Can you imagine if I was on Tinder? My God.”
Discussing her single status last year, she said: “I am very happy. I have no complaints. I am not dating anyone, I have special friends. Plural.”
Last month she told how she was revolted by the prospect of settling down.
She told The Telegraph: “The thought of sharing my life with anyone again makes me feel positively sick.”
And she later tweeted that her comment was “my way of saying I’m VERY happy as a badly behaved singleton”.
Carol’s last serious boyfriend was toyboy pilot Graham Duff, 45, who she parted company with in 2016 after four years together.
On Wednesday morning Carol took to Twitter to reveal her ab muscles were starting to show as a result of trying out the keto diet.
In a new photo, Carol rolled up her top and showed off her flat stomach, telling fans she had unexpectedly found an “ab”.
Alongside a photo of her incredibly toned tummy, she wrote: “I’ve found an “ab”.
“Actually getting stronger and weights at my age helps everything inside…….and I LOVE IT.”
