The radio host was the belle of the ball on the night as she opted for an incredible plunging red gown.
At the end of the show, which saw many stars come together to honour the nation’s unsung heroes up and down the country, Carol became tearful as she reflected on the incredible people who had been recognised.
She tweeted after the programme aired on ITV: “Love you… as you know… really struggled to not cry this year…. so hard… xxxx.”
