The presenter then suggested her and her team may have “over-weighted” the lift, which could’ve caused it to break.
She joked: “How many rugby players can you get into a lift at the Angel Hotel? Not that many and make it work, but there we go.”
The Countdown legend and her team were stuck in the lift for 40 minutes before being helped from staff.
