The day before, Carol was out on location with BBC Breakfast’s Louise, who was presenting from Auckland Castle.
The former Strictly Come Dancing contestant shared a snap with Louise and in the image, she ensured she kept warm in the chilly November conditions by wrapping up in a long, navy puffy coat.
Carol also added a bright scarf to her outfit, giving herself even more comfort for her weather forecast.
Sharing a picture of the duo in the morning sunshine, Carol asked her followers: “Like my new scarf?”
