Cardiff vs Chelsea LIVE: Stream, score, goals and latest updates from the Premier League

Follow the latest updates live from the Premier League clash between Cardiff City and Chelsea.

Chelsea need a victory to remain in touch with the top-four battle after watching Manchester United pull four points clear, but boss Maurizio Sarri has sprung a surprise by leaving Eden Hazard out of the starting line-up, while Callum Hudson-Odoi’s wait for a first Premier League start continues despite making his international debut last week.

Cardiff meanwhile cannot afford to lose any further ground to their closest rivals if they are to remain in the Premier League next season. With Huddersfield’s relegation confirmed yesterday and Fulham poised to go down next week, Cardiff can pull to within two points of safety if they can find a way past the Blues. In a bid to tackle racism in football, all of the Premier League sides have joined the #NoRoomForRacism campaign which was launched this weekend.

The result at the Cardiff City Stadium has big ramifications for both ends of the Premier League table.

A win for Chelsea would mean the four teams hunting down a top four spot would all be within one-point of each other, setting up a fascinating run in to the end of the season.

Tottenham, Manchester United and Arsenal are the other three.

Cardiff would also remain 5-points adrift of safety but 3-points for the home side today would be crucial for their chances to avoid relegation, anything less and they could struggle to stay up.
