Cardi B has promised to donate profits from her track about coronavirus to charity after teasing that it could arrive on Spotify.

The Bodak Yellow rapper has once again become a social media sensation after DJ iMarkkeyz remixed one of her latest rants about Covid-19 into an actual song.

It features Cardi, 27, repeatedly exclaiming ‘coronavirus’ and ‘it’s getting real’ lifted from one of her recent Instagram stories sharing her thoughts about the pandemic.

As the song continues to race up the iTunes charts, the rapper announced to fans earlier this week: ‘I’m about to tell Atlantic to put this song on Spotify.’

But fans wondered whether Cardi or DJ iMarkkeyz was going to profit off the song with many suggesting any royalties earned be donated to charities and those affected by coronavirus.

Cardi later clarified: ‘YES !THATS WHAT WE GOING TO DO ! Keep in mind you don’t get your money right away …but even months from now there would be families with financial issues for getting laid off due to the virus .We will Donate ! [sic].’

‘86 on the overall charts ..I’m glad yaaa having fun …..Make sure you lysol your p***y before you POP IT.’

The coronavirus crisis had Cardi worried, as he had told her followers in the original video: ‘Let me tell y’all motherf**kers something. I don’t know what the f**k this coronavirus is about.

‘I don’t understand how that s**t was from Wuhan, China now all of a sudden this s**t is on motherf**king tour.

‘And let me tell y’all something, I ain’t even gonna front. A b***h is scared, a little scared. You know what I’m saying. S**t got me panicking. ‘And now you mother f**kers think it’s a joke. Just because you think you immune to it, guess what, pack it in b***h ‘cause a lot of s**t comes from motherf**king China b***h.’
