Cardi B’s new single WAP is currently shaking the table as fans stream it on repeat and critics can’t stop talking about it.

And the rapper promises that her upcoming album is going to be full of even more songs promoting ‘female empowerment’ so everyone better fasten their seatbelts.

Cardi and her collaborator Megan The Stallion basically broke the internet last week when they dropped the visuals to Wet A** P***y and the Bodak Yellow hitmaker is ready to shake the table even further.

Speaking about her new record with Elle magazine, the 27-year-old explains: ‘My music is always going to make a woman feel like a bad b***h.

‘When you make a woman feel like she’s the baddest b***h in the room, to me, that’s female empowerment.’

She continues: ‘But this album is also going to be really different. Of course, it’s going to have my Lemonade moments, my personal relationship moments.’

Among bangers like WAP, Cardi will open up about her relationship with Migos rapper Offset, with whom she shares a 2-year-old daughter, Kulture.

She admits: ‘I do know that my relationship has a lot of drama and everything. But there’s a lot of love there’s a lot of passion, there’s a lot of trust, there’s a big friendship. It’s always us against the world.

‘If you all are so curious to know about my relationship and blah, blah, blah, I’m going to put it in the f**kin’ music, and you can buy it, too. I’m not going to give it to you all for free.’

She continues: ‘I don’t really like talking about love much, but I feel like I have to do it, just because I want people to know a little bit.

‘There’s always rumors about me and my husband, and I feel like people would rather start rumors because they want me to be heartbroken. They want me to be hurt.’

Offset has already shared his pride at how well his wife’s latest single is doing but there are some others who have issues with her rapping about her WAP.

But while conservative commentator Ben Shapiro attempted to criticize the ‘vulgar’ lyrics, the likes of Christina Aguilera have been praising the track.

Singer CeeLo Green is another person who has slammed the song’s content, but the single has the blessing of Viola Davis so it’s safe to say Cardi and Megan aren’t too fussed.

In fact, the release of the song has seen searches for Cardi B, Megan and Kylie Jenner spike on Pornhub so there’s definitely more fans than haters out there.
