Cardi B reveals she was sexually assaulted during magazine shoot

Cardi B has revealed that she was sexually assaulted during a magazine shoot.

The 26-year-old said a photographer was being too flirtatious with her before exposing himself.

Recalling the incident, Cardi said she was “f**king mad” and stormed out of the shoot, which happened before she found mainstream fame.

Cardi has not named the magazine or photographer she was working with when the alleged incident happened

Describing the harrowing event as her own #MeToo experience, she told interviewer Angie Martinez: “I will never forget how I went to shoot for this magazine and the photographer, he was trying to get close to me like, ‘Yeah, you want to get in this magazine?’”

Speaking in an upcoming episode of WE TV’s Untold Stories of Hip Hop, the Bodak Yellow rapper explained: “Then he pulled his d**k out. I was so f**king mad, and I was just like, ‘This is crazy.’

“I was like, ‘[You’re] f**king bugging.’ You know what? I’m out.”

“You know what’s so crazy? I told the magazine owner and he just looked at me like, ‘So? And?’

“When I see the Me Too movement — there’s girls from the hood I know that went through the same type of treatment, like they make you feel like you got to do a certain type of thing for the most bulls**t s**t. It happens, really, every day.”

But the former stripper, who first made her name as an Instagram celebrity, has said it doesn’t happen to her anymore now she’s is a chart-topping star.

She added: “Oh, hell no. I’ll put you on blast on my Instagram … I’ll f**king violate.”

Cardi’s revelation comes days after she was forced to respond to claims she is affiliated with the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, while also clarifing an affiliation with a different set, the Brin Bloods.

The Grammy winner spoke out against incarcerated Tekashi 6ix9ine – also known as Tekashi 69 –  who recently claimed Cardi was a Blood during his court trial.

The FEFE rapper, 23,  named her in court last week as a fellow gang member, while he testified against charges of racketeering and firearm offences after he allegedly took part in shootings and robberies at gunpoint.

Since then, Cardi’s rep denied that she was a member of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.

Billboard reported that a rep for Cardi told them: “This is not true.”

In a now-deleted tweet, Cardi suggested a different affiliation with Brin. She wrote: “Brin not 9 Trey. I never been 9 Trey or associated with them.”
