Cardi B has made a court appearance in a case stemming from a fight at a New York strip club.

The mum-of-one arrived at Queens Criminal Court on Friday in the city but did not speak in the hearing.

The Grammy winner – who appeared in high spirits as she wore a pink pantsuit without a top, fuchsia heels and a super- length black wig – is due back in court on 9 August.

She faces misdemeanour reckless endangerment and assault charges in connection with the melee at a Queens strip club last year.

Police say the Bodak Yellow rapper, real name Belcalis Almanzar, and her entourage were at the club when she argued with a bartender.

They say a fight broke out in which chairs, bottles and hookah pipes were thrown, slightly injuring the woman and another employee.

The 26-year-old’s lawyers said that she did not harm anybody.

The conditions of her parole will stay the same, including an order of protection for the complainants.

The district attorney’s office asked to have her back in court next Monday, but Cardi’s lawyer said she was not available then, so the next hearing date has been set for August.

The judge that the judge gave Cardi a ‘stern’ warning to have no contact with Baddie Gi and Jade – the women she is accused of assaulting.

Prosecutors said Friday they would present the case to a grand jury.
