Cardi B is making her Hollywood debut as a fictional stripper called Diamond.

The 26-year-old shared a picture of herself in character on Saturday revealing Diamond’s name and costume to the world for the first time.

The former real-life pole dancer has landed her first big-screen role alongside Jennifer Lopez in the film Hustlers.

In her photo, a mirror selfie, she wears a raunchy, strappy pink and blue thong bodysuit and mega high heels that fasten up all the way around her legs and thighs.

The mother-of-one wrote: ‘Y’all ready for DIAMOND to come to a theater near you this fall ? HUSTLER MOVIE !’

The movie will be directed by Lorene Scafaria who is hoping to flip gender stereotypes on their head with J-Lo as the lead.

Previously speaking about the film, she said: ‘Men have been told they’re worth the size of their bank accounts. Women have been told they’re worth the symmetry of their faces, their bodies, their beauty and that’s what the film is based on. The rules of the club and the rules of the world.’

Riverdale star Lili Reinhart, Keke Palmer and Julia Stiles will also star.

The Bodak Yellow rapper has not been shy about her past as a stripper.

The former reality star first found Instagram fame as the exotic dancer who posted funny videos on the image sharing app.

Her popularity on social media lead to her casting on Love and Hip Hop: New York as she worked on pursuing a rap career alongside her co-stars.

In an interview with Cosmopolitan, Cardi said: ‘People say, “Why do you always got to say that you used to be a stripper? We get it,” because y’all don’t respect me because of it, and y’all going to respect these strippers from now on.

‘Just because somebody was a stripper don’t mean they don’t have no brain.’

Hustlers is inspired by a viral 2015 New York Magazine article, and is about a group of former strip club employees who band together to turn the tables on their Wall Street clients.

Hustlers is set for release in September this year.
