Cardi B is the queen of extra but she really outdid herself with Offset’s 28th birthday as it was without a doubt some of the most extravagant celebrations we’ve seen.
Let’s start with the fact that she gifted her husband an eye-watering $500,000 (£375,000) in cash as a gesture of her love.
The happily married couple gathered their close friends, including Offset’s Migos mate Quavo and his girlfriend Saweetie, and headed to HD Buttercup DTLA to mark the occasion.
But before hitting the strip club, Cardi presented Offset with his present – $500,000 in cash sitting in an empty fridge.
Jeez, what will he get for his 30th?
Offset, real name Kiari Cephus, understandably couldn’t believe his eyes and was pretty much lost for words.
After picking up a few stacks, the Bad and Boujee rapper was seen smelling the green notes before planting a kiss on his incredibly generous wife.
‘You don’t gotta give me this money,’ an overwhelmed Offset told her.
Cardi replied: ‘I know I don’t gotta give you this money but I don’t know what to give you so I suppose I got to give you something. You could buy a car, you could buy more clothes, you could buy more jewellery, you could buy me more Birkin bags. S**t, you could do whatever the hell you want.
‘May God bless you with more years, more kids.’
She then made sure to note: ‘Happy birthday and don’t expect no Christmas gifts from me muthaf***a. Only for the kids.’
Well, she’s probably more than justified for skipping Christmas this year.
Offset comically struggled to carry all the stacks of hundred dollar bills in his arms but luckily had friends on hand to keep picking them off the floor.
However, they mostly ended up falling to the ground anyway when he made it rain in the strip club later that night.
The Stripper Bowl rapper was spotted throwing wads of notes in the air and on the dancers themselves as he was treated to a lapdance from two strippers at the same time.
Totally giving us Hustlers vibes.
There’s no telling how much Offset spent at the strip club but Cardi filmed the floor at the end of the night and it was completely covered in one dollar notes. The club even had to get large buckets to stash the cash.
After a drunken journey home, Cardi and Offset appeared to continue the party antics at home as they found a mattress on the floor outside the next morning but they had no idea how it got there.
So clearly, a wild night was had by all.
We just can’t wait to see what Offset does for his 30th.
