Security guards for Cardi B and the rap group Migos will not face charges over an alleged assault on an autograph seeker following last year’s Met Gala.

The 26-year-old rapper and the Atlanta-based trio’s security team will not face any charges as the case has been closed, according to an article Friday by TMZ citing police sources.

The publication claims the alleged victim refused to be interviewed by New York City Police Department detectives despite the existence of footage of the melee.

In video obtained by TMZ back in May 2018, an unidentified individual was seen being repeatedly kicked and punched outside of the Mark Hotel in the early hours.

Law enforcement sources revealed that the incident stemmed from the fan trying to get an autograph from the pregnant star – which she refused, while the site also revealed Paris Jackson fell victim to the same fate from the same autograph hunter.

The video showed a persistent male yell: ‘I’m an autograph hound’ – before three security guards pushed him to the ground and started attacking him.

Video footage of the incident saw three separate men chase over and launch an attack on the man as he was beaten to the ground.

Following the beatdown, further video footage showed the victim being transported to the hospital via ambulance at 2.30am, where he was treated for back and neck pain.

It was the first Met Gala for Cardi who wore a beaded Moschino gown to the annual event.
