Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion top charts with WAP for third week amid Offset divorce drama

Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s song WAP is at number one in the UK for a third week – which is hopefully of some comfort to Cardi, who has filed for divorce according to reports.

The song reached 60,000 chart sales this week – including 7.9 million streams – according to OfficialCharts.com.

Congrats, both.

Mood by 24kGoldn featuring Iann Dior is at two for a second week.

WAP has so far hit number one in Australia, Greece, Canada and the United States’ Billboard Hot 100.

In the latter country, WAP has been breaking records, amassing 93 million streams in its first week of release, more than any other track in history.

Cardi’s other hit singles include Bodak Yellow and I Like It.

Megan, meanwhile, scored a huge hit with her remix of Savage this year, which features Beyonce. She is also known for songs like Hot Girl Summer, Big Ole Freak and Girls In the Hood.

The news comes amid claims Cardi filed for a divorce from Offset, after three years of marriage.

She secretly tied the knot with the Migos star in 2017, with the pair parents to Kulture, two.

Offset is also a dad to kids Kody, Kalea and Jordan from a previous relationships.

WAP’s continued success comes after Cardi publicly thanked fellow star Lizzo and called her a ‘beautiful a** person’ for sending her flowers following this week’s bombshell news.

Sharing a video to her Instagram , Cardi said: ‘Isn’t Lizzo the nicest person in the world? Look at what she sent me.’
