Cara Delevingne put her best fashion foot forward for a good cause as she attended the 2nd Annual Girl Up #GirlHero Awards in Los Angeles.

A UN initiative helping girls become leaders in the fight for gender equality, Girl Up awarded Cara for her activist work at the Beverly Wilshire hotel and the model and actress had us going dotty in a denim jumpsuit from Guy Laroche covered in circular cut outs.

Now, not to sound like our grandparents, but where’s the rest of the fabric?

Keeping the rest of her look simple to make sure all eyes were on her striking outfit, Cara, 27, wore a simple pair of white pointed toe pumps and hoop earrings, while sporting a sweep of silver eyeshadow and some peachy blush on her cheeks.

The jumpsuit may be a little too much to pop down the shops in, but we could definitely give the make up a go.

Opting for a slightly more wearable look was Jameela Jamil, who went monochromatic in a short suit paired with a tie and over-the-knee boots. Think St. Trinians, but high, high fashion.

Both of the stars were presented with awards at the event, with Jameela being honoured for her work with the body positivity movement, most recently helping changing the law on the promotion of diet products on Instagram.

Celebrating the prize with a series of selfies on Twitter, The Good Place star wrote: ‘Women are strongest when we are together. Proud to win an award for activism, alongside others who use their platforms to empower others.

‘Everyone in the room was so humbling and inspiring. It was an honour just to be there.’

The girls were joined by Kate Hudson, with the 40-year-old wearing an amazing green satin dress covered in ruched details and asymmetric frills which she paired with graphic eyeliner.

Who’s for girl power?
