Cara Delevingne is not here for homophobia, period.
So when one Instagram troll attacked the 26-year-old model and actress for her relationship with girlfriend Ashley Benson, Cara was first on the scene for a furious takedown.
The cruel comments emerged when a fan site dedicated to Ashley Benson posted a video of the couple, claiming that the video showed model and actress Cara Delevingne abusing Benson.
“EVERY week there is something disrespectful towards Ashley Benson. I’m so glad Ashley is not around Cara anymore. Cara Delevingne is always so disrespectful. Ashley deserves better,” one troll wrote.
Another troll then chimed in with vicious homophobic comments, further attacking the pair for their relationship.
“I’m serious you need to stay away from the devil and never go back I’m sure many strong handsome religious man would take you back in a heartbeat. You’re not like the you aren’t gay you love men and you need one.”
After directly tagging both women, Pretty Little Liars actress Ashley, who has been dating Cara since August 2018, replied: “You need to mind your own business, stop making things up.”
Cara then followed up to really give both accounts a piece of her mind, slamming the trolls for their “disgusting” comments. Check out the screengrabs below:
“You are f***ing disgusting! If you have a problem with true love then come and say this shit to my face instead pathetically hating through Instagram.
“I genuinely feel sorry for you both, you are clearly not happy with your lives and have far too much time on your hands.
“Maybe get a hobby that doesn’t involve being homophobic and hating others for being happy.’
Later, the couple looked absolutely gorgeous walking the red carpet at the 14th Annual Tribeca Film Festival Artist’s Dinner, proving that living well really is the best way to show the haters who’s winning at life.
