Captain Marvel’s Endgame hair was all CGI fakery and we don’t know what to believe anymore

Um, what? (Picture: Marvel)

So you thought Brie Larson’s hair was legit as Captain Marvel in Avengers: Endgame?

This is where we sound the ‘ba-bow’ buzzer to tell you you’re so wrong.

With the release of Endgame on digital download with all the buzzy extras that come with it, it’s been revealed the hair of Captain Marvel was computer generated.

Guess that’s how it got that superhero shine and bounce we suppose.

Fans were Snapped when they saw a behind-the-scenes shot of Brie in action, with a green screen behind her and a cap on her hair.

Was it because she had shorter hair for scenes in the film that came later on, where Captain Marvel was rocking a buzz cut of sorts?

Or was it because when we saw her zooming around space, as she floated she had this anti-gravity effect on her hair.

Meanwhile, tweets are losing it over BTS shots of Captain America (Chris Evans) also having his skull cap apparently added in post-production.

Is nothing sacred in this world anymore?

Either way, we cannot handle this information and we don’t know what to believe anymore.

Some fans were relatively chill about the whole thing as it appeared they were level-headed about CGI…more so than we were.

One fan wrote on Twitter to placate the masses: ‘So her hair is CGI because she’s in space for this scene and it has to float around, and the cowl is CGI because initially it was a cut on 2012 cap’s face that differentiated the two but test audiences couldn’t track which was which so they added the cowl in during post.’

Another felt the whole thing was completely unnecessary while also adding: ‘To be fair we didn’t notice most of it.’

That’s when you know it’s good, right?

It’s not like we’re not lapping up every morsel of information thrown at us with the digital release and impending DVD release of the film, though.

Today it was revealed the movie has become the biggest downloaded of all the flicks, trumping Bohemian Rhapsody.

If you’re after the juicy stats, it garnered 335,400 downloads in its first week, beating the Queen biopic at 265,000.

Avengers: Endgame is available on digital download now and DVD 2 September.
