Caprice Bourret went to war with a medical expert over coronavirus on The Jeremy Vine Show today because she’s read up about the outbreak in the newspapers.

After her row with Dancing on Ice and ITV, the former model
was at it again with Dr Sarah Jarvis who was on hand to give viewers the latest
medical advice.

But who needs Sarah when you have Caprice, eh?

‘No disrespect but unless you have read every scientific paper and statistical modelling paper that’s come out you cannot argue with me on that,’ Sarah sighed, but Caprice was still going.

The 48-year-old hit back: ‘Let me read you the facts: In Taiwan and Singapore early on everyone was wearing surgical masks…’

‘Which make no difference at all,’ Sarah intervened.

‘But this is from a newspaper!’ Caprice gasped.

Naturally, viewers of The Jeremy Vine Show were in agreement over the clash:

The Jeremy Vine Show was filmed without a studio audience for the first time as the World Health Organisation declared the coronavirus outbreak a pandemic.

Loose Women will be following suit today without their fans in the room, but will otherwise proceed as normal until further notice.

The Jeremy Vine Show airs weekdays at 9.15am on Channel 5.
