Biggest losers included OceanaGold Corporation (TSX:), which lost 11.07% or 0.280 points to trade at 2.250 in late trade. Eldorado Gold Corp (TSX:) declined 4.91% or 0.52 points to end at 10.08 and Seabridge Gold Inc . (TSX:) shed 4.75% or 0.80 points to 16.04.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 544 to 485 and 144 ended unchanged on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.62% or 9.10 to $1465.10 a troy ounce. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in January rose 2.33% or 1.33 to hit $58.34 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract rose 2.02% or 1.26 to trade at $63.66 a barrel.
CAD/USD was up 0.15% to 0.7528, while CAD/EUR rose 0.27% to 0.6806.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 97.880.
