Some Spice Girls fans have been left disappointed after ‘vocal and sound issues’ affected the opening night of the group’s reunion tour.

Mel B has spoken out about the concerns from fans, saying: ‘Hey guys, thanks you for attending our show tonight in Dublin we will see you in Cardiff and hopefully the vocals and the sound will be much better.’

The pop group started their new tour in Dublin on Friday, followed by another performance in Cardiff on Bank Holiday Monday.

They will now be spending three nights at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester, and many fans will be hoping that the sound issues will be resolved.

Can you get a refund on Spice Girls tickets?

In most cases refunds are usually given if an event you have booked for is either cancelled, rescheduled or changed locations.

This usually results in the ticket owner having the option of receiving a refund or the face value of the ticket.

Refunds aren’t given if you are no longer able to attend, or if you were unhappy with an understudy replacing the events leading star, or if the headliner or another part of the line-up changes at a music event.

According to Citizens Advice you can complain to the organisers of the event if there is a problem with the quality of the sound or if your view is obstructed in a way that wasn’t communicated when you bought your ticket.

Customers are advised to contact the ticket seller or the venue if you are looking to receive a refund.

The independent resolution service Resolver says that you can ask for a partial or full refund if ‘the sound is below that which you would normally experience at an event’ and ‘if you feel that reasonable care or skill were not taken’.

This means that the likely problem for costumers is whether the sound issues were significant enough that you would be able to receive a refund.
