THE UAE was removed from the UK’s quarantine list last night, meaning Brits will no longer have to self-isolate when returning from the country.

What are the quarantine restrictions for Dubai?
The UAE has been added to the travel corridor list, enforced from tomorrow.
The latest advice from the government states: “If you are returning to the UK from the UAE on or after 4am on 14 November, you do not need to self-isolate on your return.”
This includes holidaymakers from Dubai – although holidays are not able to go ahead until December 2 when the UK lockdown ends.
Are there entry requirements for Dubai?
There are different rules depending on where you are travelling to in the UAE.
Brits visiting Dubai must have a negative Covid PCR test before departure, taken no more than 96 hours before, or can take a PCR test on arrival at Dubai airport.

Brits visiting the rest of the UAE must have the negative PCR test taken 96 hours beforehand.
Depending on where you arrive, you may also be told to have a second test, as well as wear a government-provided wristband and to complete a period of self-isolation or quarantine.
What other restrictions are in place in Dubai?
Most shops and restaurants are open, along with tourist attarctions, but it is best to check before visiting.
Face masks are mandatory when not inside your own home, which includes public spaces in hotels.
Bahrain, Iceland and Chile were also added to the travel corridor list this week.
However, most of Greece was removed and added to the quarantine list due to a spike in cases.
There is now just one destination left open to Brits which doesn’t require a quarantine or negative coronavirus test – which is Gibraltar.
