Camp Bestival 2019 line-up – festival headliners, ticket availability and latest weather forecast


CAMP Bestival is well underway, with the annual event having commenced on Thursday, July 25, 2019 following the cancellation of the music festival in 2018.

Organisers were forced to stop the festival due to bad weather, however, it is back again, with a stellar line-up. Here is everything you need to know about the music show.

When is Camp Bestival and where is it held?

Camp Bestival, the five-time-winner of Best Family Festival, kicked off on Thursday, July 25, 2019 and ends on Monday, July 29, 2019.

Jess Glynne, who pulled out of her Isle of Wight gig in June 2019, opens the show on Friday night.

The event, which debuted in 2008, is held on the grounds of Lulworth Castle on Dorset’s Jurassic coastline.

An enormous kids’ garden is situated on the site, as the festival caters to both children and adults.

Who is playing at Camp Bestival?

Some of the biggest names in music will be performing at the event, including Nile Rodgers & Chic, Annie Mac and Sister Sledge.

Other acts attending the event are Rak-Su, House Gospel Choir, Lewis Capaldi, Big Shaq and Goldie.

As well as acts, organisers will also be producing attractions and activities for festival-goers and a wellness and fitness area, dedicated to reenergising and rebalancing.

Where can I get Camp Bestival tickets and how much do they cost?

Tickets for children between two and 17-years-old and adults can be purchased via the Camp Bestival website.

Prices range between £15 and £197.50, depending on which age category the ticket holder falls under.

Although babies (one-year-olds and under) go free, a ticket must also be ordered at the same time a paying ticket is brought.

Attendees can also make additional purchases such as backstage camping upgrade and boutique camping.

What is the weather forecast for Camp Bestival?

Camp Bestival was cancelled last year due to poor weather and this year festival-goers look set to battle bad conditions again.

According to the MET Office the forecast for July 26 til July 29 will be warm and slightly cloudy, with the hottest day being TODAY (Thursday, 25, July 2019).

Over the weekend, there may be some rain in the mornings.

A post on the official website, reads: “Outbreaks of rain in the east will clear through the morning, leaving a largely dry with sunny spells and isolated showers.

Feeling fresher than Thursday. Maximum temperature 23 °C.

Sunny spells and isolated showers on Saturday. Cloudier some bright spells and scattered showers on Sunday. Turning cloudier and windier during Monday with some rain.”
