Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden are absolutely loving life with their three-week-old daughter Raddix.
The There’s Something About Mary star gave birth to her first child, Raddix Chloe Wildflower (great middle names, right?), on December 30.
And sources claimed the actress, 47, and her husband Benji, 40, are in ‘baby bliss’ after ‘waiting so long’ to have a child.
‘They waited for so long to have a baby, so now they are just enjoying their daughter,’ an insider told People.
‘They are still in baby bliss and the happiest parents. They are very protective of her and careful because of the flu season.’
The source added that the new parents ‘take turns’ staying with Raddix but don’t leave the house with her.
As for Cameron, the insider claimed the Charlie’s Angels actress has found the last few weeks ‘magical’.
‘Cameron always imagined what motherhood would be like. You can tell that it’s so much more than she ever imagined. She really is the happiest ever,’ they said.
First-time mum Cameron announced the exciting baby news on Instagram.
‘We are so happy, blessed and grateful to begin this new decade by announcing the birth of our daughter, Raddix Madden,’ she wrote.
‘She has instantly captured our hearts and completed our family.’
The actress went on to stress that she won’t be posting pictures of Raddix on social media, due to ‘a strong instinct to protect our little one’s privacy.’
However, she insisted Baby Madden is ‘really really cute!! Some would even say RAD :)’
