Call of Duty FREE download WARNING: April 2019 free PS Plus games BOOST

Fans of Fortnite Battle Royale and PUBG should check out this PS Plus bonus freebie before it’s too late.

PS4 owners can check out Call of Duty‘s Blackout Battle Royale mode for free for just a few more days.

To celebrate the launch of the secondary Alcatraz map, the Black Ops 4 Blackout free trial went live on April 1 for PS4.

Unfortunately, however, the free trial comes to an end on April 30, so there’s only a few days left to check out the free trial.

But a word of warning for PS4 owners, you will need a PlayStation Plus subscription to access the content.

The Black Ops universe comes to life in an intense battle royale experience set on the biggest Call of Duty maps ever made, including the new standalone map ‘Alcatraz’,” reads the official description.

“Team up with friends, deploy from the chopper, scavenge the best gear and battle your way to the top. Leave none standing to win!”

Fans will also be able to enjoy the latest spring colour and weapon updates as part of the trial.

Matchmaking covers all Blackout players and modes, so you can play solo, or team with friends and strangers in Duos and Quads.

Any progression made during the trial will carry over to the full game if you decide to upgrade.

And as Sony and Activision point out, the free trial includes access to the original Blackout map, as well as the recently released Alcatraz spinoff.

Alcatraz is a standalone map with its own playlist, and a smaller, more compact play area.

The new map is said to require new tactics, as players battle within a fog-filled island.

“The new Blackout Alcatraz map is set in a fog-filled island boasting a variety of environments that all lead up to the big cellhouse atop the hill,” reads the Activision post.

“Requiring new strategies and tactics, players will drop in, gear up and fight through both close-quarters combat and long-range exterior firefights as they battle to be the last squad standing.”
