After missing out on the top spot in its first week, Call Of Duty is now the new UK number one – ahead of FIFA 21 and Spider-Man.
Once again, the release of a new console has had virtually no effect on the UK sales charts, although this time it’s because most PlayStation 5 games launched on their international release date a week prior.
With the next gen not being a factor Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War had its revenge on Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, which beat it for the number one spot last week, although both games saw a drop in sales – Cold War down by 27% and Valhalla by a massive 70%.
Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity is the highest new entry of the week, not counting the new Fortnite bundle, and while up 324% on the first Hyrule Warriors was still 43% lower than last year’s Zelda: Link’s Awakening remake.
