Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Blackout gets a Hardcore mode today.
It strips out the heads-up display (HUD), armour, vehicles and zombies from the battle royale, making for a much harder, more intense experience.
Hardcore launches in Blackout on PlayStation 4 today ahead of other platforms, as per Activision’s timed-exclusivity deal with Sony.
It’s a big week for Black Ops 4, with a new multiplayer map, a new event and a spring map update for Blackout. Today on PS4, multiplayer gets Stockpile, a twist on Black Ops 3’s Fracture mode. Here, you have to deliver enemy tags to the deposit site to win.
Patch notes are expected soon.
