Calgary Communications opens new city base

A branding firm which works with clients including ScottishPower, Tesco Bank and Heineken UK has opened a new office in Edinburgh.

Calgary Communications, headed by Jennifer Millar and Steve White, was launched six years ago and to date staff have worked remotely rather than from a physical base.

Millar said: “When Calgary was established we decided against opening office premises, instead working remotely and moving around in line with clients’ demands.

“However the company has evolved considerably in a relatively short period. Our client base has grown as have their requirements, with an appetite for more services.”

The company has recently recruited a new account manager,  Sophie Irving, as well as establishing the new office in East Market Street.

The agency helps companies in areas including recruitment by helping develop strong employer branding.
