Caitlyn Jenner’s family is not impressed with her new political endeavor.

The 71-year-old Olympian announced her bid to run for Governor of California just last week, but her three sons are ’embarrassed’ by her latest pursuit.

Sources told TMZ that Burt, Brandon and Brody Jenner ‘don’t feel she’s qualified for the position’ and feel as though she should reconsider the campaign.

Caitlyn reportedly called a few of her family members the night before announcing her interest in running for the spot.

Her sons are ‘upset she never took the family’s feelings into consideration’ and had already made up her mind before reaching out to her loved ones.

Caitlyn, who transitioned at the age of 65, was previously married to Kris Jenner from 1991-2015 and Linda Thompson from 1981-1986.

She shares two children with Kris — Kendall and Kylie — and has sons Brody and Brandon Jenner with ex-wife Linda.

Caitlyn was also previously married to Chrystie Jenner from 1972-1981 and has a son, Burt Jenner, and daughter, Cassandra Marino.

Caitlyn is already taking to twitter to make her stance known on a cause very close to Kim Kardashian‘s heart: prison reform.

As part of her ‘Cait for California’ push, she fired off a tweet about ‘dangerous criminals’ in the streets that reportedly ‘disturbed Kim’ per TMZ as her viewpoint undermines the SKIMS founder’s work.

‘This is horrible and also avoidable. Gavin’s District Attorneys across California are releasing dangerous criminals back on to our streets. Enough is enough. #RecallGavin,’ she wrote.

It has been claimed in the past that the KKW Beauty founder finds Caitlyn’s approach — which is reminiscent of former president Donald Trumps’ — more detrimental, as it uses more of taxpayer’s money and does not get to the root of why people commit crime in the first place.

The outlet had previously reported that neither Kim nor her famous family would publicly endorse Caitlyn’s bid. Jenner’s right-leaning politics clash with Kim’s approach to prison reform makes this even more polarizing.

Kim actually agrees more with Newsom’s approach to crime which favors rehabilitation and support for prisoners re-entering society, in addition to investing in crime prevention.

And in the past she had said she was ‘very supportive of Governor Newsom’ and his work to remove the death penalty in California. He ordered a moratorium on executions in spring of 2019.

‘I have met with and am very supportive of Governor Newsom and his decision to help bring an end to the California Death Penalty. Racial bias and unfairness run deep throughout the justice system but especially when it comes to the death penalty,’ she wrote in March 2019.

Jenner on the other hand has wasted no time laying into Newsom yet again —even referring to him as the ‘CEO of the state,’ —as he doubled down on crime in the street in response to congressman Ted Lieu who tried to point out that DAs are elected.

To make matters worse, the famous sisters continue to promote their various brands and products on social media, with none of them even publicly acknowledging Caitlyn’s campaign.
