Caitlyn Jenner’s mum has opened up about her iconic daughter being on the other side of the world for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and she doesn’t approve of her daughters latest challenge.
Esther Jenner, 93, will not be watching her famous daughter take part in the gruesome Bushtucker Trials on the famous ITV programme.
Known for being feisty, Esther who appeared on Caitlyn’s hit show I Am Cait, as well as Keeping Up With The Kardashians has also said she refuses to watch the American equivalent, Survivor.
Speaking to MailOnline, Esther said: “That’s not entertainment to me, to see somebody frightened. I think she could spend a lot more pleasant times on the golf course!

“I’ve tried not to think of Caitlyn being over there. It’s three weeks… a long time to go without hearing from her.”
Esther went on to say: “When she’s in the States, she calls me every day, so I’ve got to live without hearing her.”
Speaking to the publication from her home in Idaho, the mum-of-three admitted she understands that the show is mentally challenging but wouldn’t be able to sleep if she thought about what Caitlyn was going through in too much detail.
Since the show began on Sunday, the 70-year-old Olympian has done a skydive alongside Nadine Coyle , been covered in cockroaches which led to one being syringed from her ear and even had her head locked inside a glass bowl which was filled with snakes.
The trans icon has also been sleeping on the floor of the Australian bush and has swapped her luxury diet for a bleak diet of rice and beans.
After telling her elderly mother about her plans to take part in the challenging programme, Esther made it clear she had never been a fan of the American version.
Caitlyn has previously taken part in the American show in 2003 when she was known as Bruce Jenner before her transition.
When she was told about the famous Bushtucker Challenges, Esther asked the journalist not to spill anymore as it would “frighten” or “upset” her.
She said she will be eagerly awaiting a phone call from her daughter when she returns from the jungle.
