Caitlyn Jenner already appeared in I’m A Celeb USA 16 years ago – but DENIED knowing how jungle show works


CAITLYNN Jenner has already appeared on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! USA as Bruce – but denied knowing “how the show works”.

The reality star, who came out as a trans woman in 2015, camped in the jungle and competed in bushtucker trials after she joined the first ever line-up in 2003.

Caitlyn, 70, bunked up with American supermodel Tyson Beckford, Joan Rivers’ daughter Melissa Rivers and Jennifer Lopez’s ex-husband Cris Judd 16 years ago.

She made it through to the last week of the USA series, but was beaten to a spot in the final three by comedian John Melendez.

Cris Judd went on to be crowned King of the Jungle and nabbed $200,000 for his chosen charity, the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

But Caitlyn claimed that she had “no idea” how I’m A Celeb workd after The Sun revealed her involvement.

The Sun exclusively revealed last week that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star would be a campmate with a whopping £500,000 fee – making her the highest paid person this year.

Caitlyn has already landed in Australia and is joining the likes of Ian Wright, Kate Garraway and Jacqueline Jossa.

When asked by The Sun Online about heading into the jungle, she said: “I am not allowed to talk about this until next week. I am not sure what I can say. I am not allowed to say anything.”

Then as she was wished good luck on the show, she replied: “Thank you. I don’t know how it works.”

The star was mobbed after she landed at Brisbane airport on Sunday and was followed by excited fans.

Caitlyn didn’t mind the attention and even looked refreshed as a gaggle of women shoved camera phones in her face.

Bosses hope that she’ll talk about her famous family and her life after coming out as a trans woman.

But speaking about her surgery, she said: “It is not something I talk about … It is not what is between your legs.

“So yes, I had it done. But that is all out of respect to me, my privacy but also respect to the community.”

The star has six children with three successive wives — Chrystie Crownover, Linda Thompson and Kris Jenner.

Caitlyn came out as a trans woman in April 2015, and publicly announced her new name in July of that year.
