I’m a Celebrity’s Caitlyn Jenner, has been in the first shower scene of this year’s reality series and has been praised online for her bravery. Many viewers took to Twitter to praise the star’s pluckiness for grin and bearing it all on national television.
One viewer praised: “Seeing caitlyn jenner, a 70 year-old transgender woman, having a shower in a bikini on mainstream TV honestly is so important and amazing #ImACeleb.”
A second gushed: “Hats off to caitlyn jenner, I’m sorry but she’s a transgender woman, she is 70 years old, she jumped out of a plane at 70 YEARS OLD and now she’s brave enough to shower in front of the world when she knows exactly what people will be thinking and saying.”

Caitlyn appeared to enjoy the shower, which came in contrast to just a few hours earlier when the tearful star questioned whether she should be on the show at all.
Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, Caitlyn was teary eyed as she wondered if she was missing important family moments for competing on the series.
She said: Being the first night in the Jungle my head was spinning.
“I’m kinda trying to figure out if I’m doing the right thing. I’m 70 years old now and is being in here the right way to use my time.
She explained: “I thought I was gonna transition before I was 40, I didn’t want to be an old chick.
“But this is the latter 80’s and I never felt like I fitted in anywhere, I was trying to figure myself out, running around town”
Campmate Andrew Maxwell asked: “Running around town, what do you mean?”
Caitlyn confirmed: “Cross dressing running around.”
