Cadbury’s new Easter range includes a Dairy Milk Orange bunnies and a chocolate egg filled with caramel

CADBURY has officially rolled out its Easter range for this year, and it’s good news for caramel and chocolate orange fans.

The confectionery giant’s Easter treats include Dairy Milk orange and vanilla bunnies and a chocolate caramel egg.

The tasty-looking bunnies are made from chocolate mousse and have been inspired by the Peter Rabbit character, created by Beatrix Potter.

They weigh 30g each and come with a recommended retail price (RRP) of 65p, although shops are free to set their own prices.

Eggcitingly, the caramel shell egg combines the best of two worlds with a milk chocolate egg filled with a caramel centre.

This Easter treat weighs 139g and comes with an RRP of 3.49.

The products have already gone on sale, and you’ll find a majority of them in the UK’s major supermarkets.

To avoid a wasted trip, simply call up your local shop to check availability beforehand.

If you’re watching over your waistline, you’ll want to know that 100g of the bunnies contain 565 calories.

We’ve also asked Cadbury how many calories the caramel egg contains, but we haven’t heard back yet. We’ll update this article once we do.

Other new products in the Cadbury Easter range for this year include Creme Egg cake bars.

These tasty-looking treats contain a chocolate sponge that’s been topped with Creme Egg fondant and coated in Cadbury milk chocolate.

Cadbury also launched new tins of Creme Eggs and Mini Eggs earlier this month.

The Creme Egg gift tins weigh 409g and are filled with the fondant-centred treats and costs £6 to buy directly from the Cadbury website.

There are eight normal sized Creme Eggs in each tin plus an 89g bag of mini Creme Eggs.

While Mini Eggs tin weighs 319g and is filled with 10 32g treatsize bags of Mini Eggs.

But shortly after they launched, furious chocolate lovers called the tins a “con” after discovering how few eggs are in each tin.

Terry’s Chocolate Orange has also launched mini eggs for Easter.

But in bad news for chocolate fans, the weight of Britain’s favourite Easter egg is a THIRD plastic packaging.

While some chocoholics are convinced the new orange Twirl “doesn’t exist” as the bar “sells out” in some shops.
