Cadbury brings back the orange Twirl – and this time it’s here to stay

The orange flavour Twirl was the start of a bit of a trend.

When other brands saw how quickly it sold out in September 2019, they quickly created their own treats with a citrus kick.

The Twirl returned to shelves again last summer and was a hit once more – but fans were disappointed when the limited edition run came to an end.

The bars were hard to get hold off, with some joking they only ever saw empty boxes.

So the good news is that it’s back – and this time it’s here to stay.

Announcing the news on Twitter, Cadbury said it was now an ‘unlimted edition’.

You’ll be able to pick up the two-finger 43g bar for a recommended retail price of 69p (though it might cost more or less depending on the store as they decide exact prices).

People on Twitter were excited to hear it would be a permanent option.

One said: ‘Best news ever means I don’t need to bulk buy in fear of them not coming back.’

Another added: ‘You made the right decision here…’

‘This is an early birthday present. Thank you,’ someone else wrote.

Radhika Pai, Brand Manager for Cadbury Twirl at Mondelez said: ‘We are delighted to bring back Cadbury Twirl Orange for good.

‘We know how much our fans love the chocolate bar, now they can enjoy the carefree feeling of unlimited Twirl Orange all year round.’
