BTS have smashed yet another YouTube record, with DNA reportedly becoming the most commented-on video in the site’s history.

Not too shabby.

Racking up a whopping 5.07 million comments, the video has flown ahead of previous record holder, PSY’s Gangnam Style, according to Chart Data.

And the video is well on its way to a billion views as well, proving ARMYs really are the most dedicated fans out there – and are keeping themselves busy amid the coronavirus pandemic.

If the video does reach the coveted billion view mark, it’ll make BTS the first K-Pop boyband to reach the milestone, following behind internet sensation PSY, and girlgroup BLACKPINK.

The boys – J-Hope, Jimin, Jin, RM, V, Jungkook, and SUGA, are no strangers to breaking records, with the seven of them previously becoming the fastest stars to reach a million followers on TikTok.

Meanwhile, their album Map Of The Soul: 7, smashed pre-order records before it was even released.

However, the boys have recently been forced to slow down, with the coronavirus pandemic meaning they’ve had to postpone the North American leg of their tour.

The group had been set to kick off the tour on 25 April in Santa Clara, California, before finishing in Chicago, Illinois, on 6 June.

However, BTS’s label Big Hit Entertainment said the dates have been postponed and will be rescheduled to ensure ‘the safety of everyone involved’.

All purchased tickets for the North American leg of the Map Of The Soul tour will be honoured for the new dates, Big Hit added.

As it stands, the rest of the tour – including the European leg which begins in London on July 3 – is set to go ahead.

Nevertheless, the boys have definitely been keeping themselves busy, sharing sweet videos for their fans from inside their own homes.

Let’s hope it’s not too long before they can get back on the stage!
