Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul have teased what fans believe to be a long-anticipated Breaking Bad movie after they shared identical pictures of two mules.

Cranston previously confirmed the Breaking Bad film was in the making but was unsure if he would be a part of it as his character Walter White died at the end of the sixth and final season.

It seems however there is still more of Walter’s story to be told as Cranston and Paul shared the same sepia-toned picture at the exact same time, with the caption: ‘Soon.’

The Tony-Award winning actor played the chemistry teacher family man-turned drug kingpin in the hit TV series and has said there is just one way for his currently deceased character to return: a flash back.

Fans of the award-winning drama have long called for a big screen follow-up and in February sources claimed that Netflix has been given first-run rights to the project, with AMC set to air it after.

Additional details about the film suggested that the story would focus on Paul’s Jesse Pinkman and his quest for freedom following his panicked escape from the deadly settlement headed by Jack Welker (Michael Bowen) in the closing scenes.

‘It’s a great story and there are a lot of people who felt that they wanted to see some kind of completion to some of these storylines that were left open [in the series finale],’ Cranston previously said of a possible reunion.

He added: ‘And this idea, from what I’m told, gets into those… at least a couple of the characters who were not completed, as far as their journey.’

Cranston previously said on The Dan Patrick Show: ‘I don’t know if there’s an appearance – flashbacks, flash forwards – but I’m excited about it because it’s Breaking Bad and it was the greatest professional period of my life and I can’t wait to see all those people again, even if I just come by to visit.’
