“[The squad] is stretched but we’re getting players back after the break as well, so we will be better off for the break,” the United boss said.
“We’re still working on one or two things so let’s see if the club get it over the line.”
Solskjaer was then probed on United’s reluctance to splash the cash this transfer window after being the Premier League’s biggest spenders in the summer.
“For me, we do have a way of doing things, you can see other teams have done well,” he said.
