Spirits are high in the Manchester United camp after their latest victory with Bruno Fernandes once again showing his funny side as he sent a brilliant message to Paul Pogba on social media.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side secured three important points in their pursuit of a Champions League berth on Thursday night courtesy of a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace.

Fernandes has been having plenty of fun on social media since joining United and that continued after beating Palace, commenting on a photo Pogba uploaded.

The Frenchman wrote ‘Three important points, two more games to go – Let’s go United!’ alongside a picture of him acrobatically bringing down the ball at Selhurst Park.

And Fernandes replied by tagging martial arts movie star Jackie Chan, writing: ‘It’s you in the second photo?’ alongside a thinking-face emoji.

Fernandes has been enjoying playing alongside Pogba since the restart, with the January signing from Sporting still yet to taste defeat since joining United.

Reacting to his are appearance, Fosu-Mensah told MUTV afterwards: ‘It feels good. I’m happy to play for the club again, but I’m more happy that we got the win today. It was hard, it was hard. But that’s what you work such a long time for, all these months, for moments like this.

‘This is football and anything can happen so you have to be ready, especially at a club like this. You have to be ready and I was ready for this moment. It was quite special (being back at Selhurst). Every time I step on this pitch it’s a special feeling because I had a nice season here, with some great people so it’s special.’
